If you’re a coffee enthusiast or simply looking for a cozy space to unwind, this café is a must-visit. Known for its distinct selection of both vegan and non-vegan pastries, The Barn offers an inviting atmosphere that feels both earthy and eclectic.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee mingling with the scent of delicious baked goods. The café's interior might be compact, with seating for around 56 patrons, but it’s this intimacy that fosters a cozy vibe. As Customer Shania Ko notes, their coffee is consistently excellent, and the new loyalty program is a cherry on top, providing even more reason to return for your caffeine fix.

While it may sometimes feel a bit crowded, as reflected in Görkem Erdoğan's review, the serene atmosphere makes it a wonderful spot for a quiet moment in the busy city. If you’re looking for a quick grab-and-go option or just a place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon drink with friends, The Barn Café caters to all moods.

Customers like Yevgen Gusovskyy have praised the baristas for their ability to get filter coffee just right, making it an ideal stop if you’re in Mitte and looking for quality brews. The space may be small, but the care poured into each cup is monumental.

Outdoor seating is a delightful option, as pointed out by Whatevagoes, where you can enjoy your espresso in the fresh air. And if you’re curious about the matcha experience, it’s a highlight that AB raves about—a lovely preparation ritual that adds a unique touch to your visit.

In a city bursting with coffee culture, The Barn Café stands out not just for its comforting flavors but also for its warm vibe and dedicated staff. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a quick coffee run, The Barn Café promises a delightful experience, ensuring you leave with a smile and perhaps a sweet treat in hand.

The coffee is just okay—nothing extraordinary, but good enough to enjoy. The place itself is very small, with limited seating, around 5-6 tables at most, so finding a spot might be tricky, especially during busy hours. However, the atmosphere is very quiet, making it a nice place if you’re looking for a peaceful break. It’s more of a grab-and-go type of spot rather than a place to sit for a long time, but if you do manage to get a table, it’s a cozy little space to enjoy your coffee.

Legit coffee shop! They have vegan and nonvegan pastries. And they offer a 50% coffee and a regular one for espresso drinks. Nice seating outside.

Is this the best coffee in the world? No—but it doesn’t need to be. I’m not usually a fan of freshly roasted beans for espresso, but they make it work—especially in milk-based drinks. Where this place really shines is filter coffee, which they consistently get right. The coffee is well-made, the space is beautiful, and it’s an ideal spot for a quick coffee and sandwich if you’re in Mitte. Solid, dependable, and worth a detour.

Love this place—super cute and cozy, it reminds me of some of the cafes in Japan. The staff are so friendly and there’s a really cool, earthy vibe. It’s become one of my favourite coffee spots I found in Berlin! The matcha is incredible—made from a small pot and whisked right in front of you, which adds such a nice touch. Their coffee selection is great too, and the outdoor seating is a lovely bonus. Highly recommend!

Decent specialty coffee in the heart of Berlin. Don’t come here expecting a classic Italian espresso — the focus is on light and medium roasts. You can choose among several coffees, and the staff can advise you on taste profiles The cakes are fine, though not remarkable. The space inside is quite limited, so it can feel a bit cramped, but the quality coffee makes it worth a visit.
